Compass International Freight Services Limited                 |
     |

    London, Heathrow based, United Kingdom.
Compass is one of the longest serving users of BOFFIN/Open application. The company ran BOFFIN/Open under SCO-Unix and then, on a recommendation from Bishopstrade, converted to the Microsoft NT Operating system.
Compass specializes in Air Exports and Air Imports; all of which is processed with the BOFFIN/Open application. The company prints 6-part Master Air Waybills (MAWBs’) and 6 part House Air Waybills (HAWBs’) in Neutral format.

DHL, Danzas Air and Ocean, Zimbabwe                         |
     |

This installation (originally setup in NOV-1997) was inherited by DHL Danzas Air & Ocean when they purchased Danzas/AEI, which, it turn had purchased Walford Meadows in Zimbabwe. The installation was brought fully up-to-date in FEB-2004 and again in FEB-2005; making it a very good example of a well run installation and a demonstrator of what is possible. |

DHL, Danzas Air and Ocean, Lusaka, Zambia |
     |

The ending of the world recession in 2004/2005 has made this company an important member of DHL for the future. BOFFIN/Open was installed in the new airport offices of the company at Lusaka International Airport in MAR-2005. The installation will be setup and run in the same configuration and methodology as the Zimbabwean Operation. |

     Master Logistiques S.D.A.R.L.                |

    Paris based, France
This company has been using BOFFIN/Open installed on an HP3000 computer, since the company was formed in 2001, providing a stable foundation for the company's growth. The installation is setup as a Local Area Network with 34 Rich Client-PCs, most located within the central offices near Charles de Gaule Airport, but with remote Rich Clients in Nice and Brest. This installation is a good example of a BOFFIN/Open installation running in a foreign language; in this case French. |

     Phoenix Freight International Limited      |
     |

    London based, United Kingdom
Phoenix has been using BOFFIN/Open since it's birth in about 1986. Originally the company used the BOFFIN/VS application, the forerunner of BOFFIN/Open using Wang VS computer(s) until it migrated to BOFFIN/Open running on a LAN under Microsoft Windows with 29 Rich Clients.
Phoenix specializes in European import and export Groupage services. This installation is a good example of one that has been through the Bishopstrade migration package from a proprietary system to an open system based on Oracle. |

     Phoenix Europe Express S.A.             |
     |

    Paris based, France
This company has been using BOFFIN/Open for a considerable time. It is located near to Charles de Gaulle Airport in France. The installation is a good example of the way in which the entire installation was converted from using French Francs as it's home currency and then changing to the new Euro. This currency change was a large and exacting exercise, which was completed in a 'long weekend'; Friday lunchtime to 08:00 Monday morning. |

Speedy Overborder Services (Pty) Ltd     |
     |

    Johannesburg based, South Africa

A Jewel in anyone’s crown. The owner is running the company with energy and is convinced that the 'computer' is not an overhead but a source of considerable profit. The owner of the company was a BOFFIN/Open user in a previous life. From the set up of the company in 1999, the business has been run on BOFFIN/Open and has grown considerably but with control and structure.

Speedy installed a 'world class system' during the southern hemisphere winter of 2005 based on an expanded BOFFIN/Open closely coupled to a website within which operational and accounting data is made available to business partners in real-time; anywhere in the world.

The existing installation comprises a DELL 4300 Powered server with dual cpus and RAID5 with Rich Client-PCs. The new 'world class installation' will make it possible for the company to link in it's cargo terminals in Swaziland, Botswana and Lesotho.

Speedy has grown into a well respected cross border and inland distribution transport operator. They have become specialists in cross border “consolidations”.
